Marc Thivierge is a Principal at Hobin Architecture with over two decades of experience leading a diverse range of residential, institutional, and commercial projects. Since graduating from Carleton University’s School of Architecture, Marc has played a key role in the design and delivery of complex, multi-phased developments across the region.

His leadership extends from concept through construction, where he oversees multidisciplinary teams and serves as the primary point of contact during contract administration. Marc’s portfolio includes high-rise residential buildings, community facilities, and faith-based developments, reflecting a deep commitment to projects that serve a broad spectrum of users and stakeholders.

Marc is actively leading the team responsible for multiple significant affordable housing projects for Ottawa Community Housing. These projects are designed to meet rigorous Passive House standards, incorporating super-insulated building envelopes, airtight construction, and advanced energy recovery systems to dramatically reduce energy consumption and utility costs for residents.

Marc’s work continues to set new benchmarks for sustainable urban development, with a focus on creating vibrant, inclusive communities that serve a wide demographic and respond to the evolving needs of cities.
